Pregnancy Yoga Class

An opportunity for you to switch off from the outside world and focus on you and your baby – creating a space just for you both.

Our Pregnancy Yoga classes are uniquely designed to enhance and nurture your experience of pregnancy and prepare for childbirth.

Gentle yoga to stretch, strengthen and balance the body.  Develop practice of effective breathing, visualisation and sound techniques to help birth your baby – supporting you to feel positive and confident.

To obtain the greatest benefits we recommend joining early in Pregnancy and continuing classes, so you experience a broad range of practices, deepening your awareness and ability to listen to your body.  The practices become familiar (body memory) and are better able to support you in pregnancy and birth – in a way that feels natural and comfortable to you.

  • Pelvic floor exercises – beneficial in pregnancy, childbirth & postnatal healing

  • Techniques to help reduce pain in childbirth, making sensations more manageable
  • Meet other pregnant women, build friendships & share experiences
  • No previous experience of yoga is necessary
  • Suitable after 14 weeks of pregnancy

Join our Group Pregnancy Yoga Classes 

Prior to joining please confirm with your GP or midwife that yoga is suitable for you and your baby.

Classes are purchased in rolling Blocks of 6 Classes (6 classes over 6 consecutive weeks – subject to our Terms and Conditions).

Spaces are limited and can fill quickly, to avoid disappointment it’s recommended to book early.  Existing students – if your pregnancy will be full term (37-40 weeks) during the period of a Class Block, you may prefer to attend classes on a drop-in basis (available on a discretionary basis).

Bookings are taken online.  To book your classes please complete the form below.  A payment request will be emailed to you on the same day (if you don’t receive it, please check your junk inbox or Contact Us).  Upon receipt of payment, you will receive an email confirming your booking.

Please note: All students must arrive 15 minutes early to their first Class to Register, otherwise you will not be able to Register and take the Class and this will count as a used Class.  All booking must be completed and payment received at least 48 hours before the date you wish to start Classes.

Private Pregnancy Yoga Classes are also available.  These can be tailored to meet your individual needs at a time and place that suits you.

Our Pregnancy Yoga classes work in combination with our two Antenatal Courses which focus on labour & birth – Birth Preparation Workshop and  Spinning Babies Parent Class for pregnant women & their birth partners.

Absolutely amazing service from Sky. Without the practice and encouragement in classes I don’t think I could have had a natural birth. She gave me tremendous encouragement and taught me countless techniques to prepare me for when my labour started. I would also make the couples workshop a priority for all, but especially for the birthing partners.
