An opportunity for you to switch off from the outside world and focus on you and your baby – creating a space just for you both. No previous experience of yoga is necessary. Our classes are designed to enhance and nurture your experience of pregnancy and birth.
Gentle exercises are practiced to help common ailments experienced in pregnancy. Breathing techniques, visualisations, relaxation and sound practices are explored, to nurture relaxation and help facilitate birth. This can support you to obtain a more restful sleep, enabling you to feel more energised.
Pelvic floor exercises allow you to gain a greater awareness over this area of your body, which is helpful during birth and will support you to heal and strengthen the pelvic floor after birth.
Pregnancy yoga postures build stability and strength, whilst softening and relaxing appropriate areas of the body – creating space. Yoga practices can be used to relieve pain in labour and birth. Together we will explore postures to support an active birth (which is explored further in our Birth Preparation Workshop with birth partners).
Yoga helps to release stress, tension and anxiety held within the body and mind – calming emotions. Classes support you to build confidence and an understanding of techniques you can use to help birth your baby – to aid you to feel positive and empowered for the birth you want.
Our classes provide a welcoming environment for you to meet other pregnant women and share your experiences of pregnancy and birth. Pregnancy Yoga nurtures the connection with your baby and are an opportunity for you to relax and have fun !
To obtain the greatest benefits we recommend joining classes early in Pregnancy and continuing them, so you experience a broad range of practices and your awareness and ability to listen to your body deepens. The practices become familiar and are better able to support you in pregnancy and birth – in a way that feels natural and most comfortable to you.

Join our Group Pregnancy Yoga Classes
Classes are suitable from 14 weeks of pregnancy, up until birth – prior to joining please check with your GP or midwife that yoga is suitable for you and your baby.
Classes are purchased in rolling Blocks of 6 Classes (6 classes over 6 consecutive weeks – subject to our Terms and Conditions).
Spaces are limited and can fill quickly, to avoid disappointment it’s recommended to book early. Existing students – if your pregnancy will be full term (37-40 weeks) during the period of a Class Block, you may prefer to attend classes on a drop-in basis (available on a discretionary basis).
Bookings are taken online. To book your classes please complete the form below. A payment request will be emailed to you on the same day (if you don’t receive it, please check your junk inbox or Contact Us). Upon receipt of payment, you will receive an email confirming your booking.
Please note: All students must arrive 15 minutes early to their first Class to Register, otherwise you will not be able to Register and take the Class and this will count as a used Class. All booking must be completed and payment received at least 48 hours before the date you wish to start Classes.

Private Pregnancy Yoga Classes are also available. These can be tailored to meet your individual needs at a time and place that suits you.
Our Pregnancy Yoga classes are supported by and work with our Birth Preparation Workshop for pregnant women & their birth partners.
