Thousands of people joined nationwide demonstrations in the UK yesterday, to send a clear message to the Government, that refugees are welcome to come to the UK. My Message to the Government

A series of 5 short films were made at the People’s Assembly National Demonstration which took place in London over the weekend.  People attending were asked to contribute a one sentence message to the government.  The films capture some of the messages shared and runs with the hashtag #mymsgtothegov  – and asks viewers to use the hashtag to share their own personal message to the government. Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict

  On 10-13th June 2014, London’s Excel centre will be hosting the worlds’ largest summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict.  British Embassies and High Commissions around the world will be hosting events coinciding with the Summit.  Global solidarity and support for this initiative is being shared on twitter with the #TimeToAct .
