My Message to the Government

A series of 5 short films were made at the People’s Assembly National Demonstration which took place in London over the weekend.  People attending were asked to contribute a one sentence message to the government.  The films capture some of the messages shared and runs with the hashtag #mymsgtothegov  – and asks viewers to use the hashtag to share their own personal message to the government. Is the UK closer to ratifying the Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence?

On the 4th February 2014, The Joint Committee on Human Rights launched an inquiry into violence against women and girls (VAWG) and has requested evidence from anyone with an interest in the human rights issues raised (within specified categories).
